Sanskrit
अहं सर्वस्य प्रभवो मत्तः सर्वं प्रवर्तते । इति मत्वा भजन्ते मां बुधा भावसमन्विताः ॥ ८ ॥
ahaṃ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṃ pravartate iti matvā bhajante māṃ budhā bhāvasamanvitāḥ
Translation
I am the Generator of all; all evolves from Me; understanding thus, the wise adore Me in rapt emotion.

Explanation
States the underlying claim directly, without the hedging of verses 1-2: Krishna is the source of everything, everything unfolds from him. The verse then pivots to how the wise respond — not analytically but “in rapt emotion” (bhāvasamanvitāḥ) — opening the bhakti register that runs through verses 9-11 before Arjuna’s questions begin in verse 12.
