Translation
Not divided amid beings, and yet seated distributively; that is to be known as the supporter of beings; He devours and He generates.

Explanation
“Not divided among beings, yet seated as if divided” names precisely the illusion verse 3 licensed by identifying the individual knower with the one cosmic Knower — from inside experience it looks like one kshetrajna per body, but the claim on the table is that it’s undivided underneath. “He devours and He generates” adds a cyclical, almost fierce register to what has otherwise been an abstract description, tying the impersonal Brahman-language back to a more personal, active Lord.
