सर्वगुह्यतमं भूयः शृणु मे परमं वचः । इष्टोऽसि मे दृढमिति ततो वक्ष्यामि ते हितम् ॥ ६४ ॥
sarva-guhyatamaṃ bhūyaḥ śṛṇu me paramaṃ vacaḥ iṣṭo'si me dṛḍham iti tato vakṣyāmi te hitam
Translation
Listen thou again to My supreme word, most secret of all; beloved art thou of Me, and steadfast of heart, therefore will I speak for thy benefit.

Explanation
Before delivering what’s coming, Krishna pauses to say why: Arjuna is beloved and steadfast, so this final word will be spoken “for thy benefit.” The verse is a small hinge, but it matters rhetorically — the most demanding thing Krishna is about to say gets framed first as a gift given out of relationship, not an order issued from authority.
