अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम् । एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम् ॥

athavā yoginām eva kule bhavati dhīmatām etaddhi durlabhataraṃ loke janma yad īdṛśam

Translation

Or he may even be born into a family of wise Yogis; but such a birth as that is most difficult to obtain in this world.

Explanation

This gives the second, better outcome — birth directly into a family of accomplished yogis — while flagging that this is the rarer of the two options Krishna names. Verse 43 explains why either birth is valuable: what it actually preserves from the previous effort.
