अधियज्ञः कथं कोऽत्र देहेऽस्मिन्मधुसूदन । प्रयाणकाले च कथं ज्ञेयोऽसि नियतात्मभिः ॥

What is the knowledge of Sacrifice in this body, and how, O, Madhusûdana? And how, at the time of forthgoing art Thou known by the Self-controlled?

Explanation
The sixth definitional term, adhiyajna, and the death-moment question arrive together in one verse — a hint that Krishna is going to fold them into the same answer. Verse 4 will identify adhiyajna with Krishna’s own embodied presence, and verse 5 pivots straight into what a person thinks of at the moment of death, which occupies the rest of the chapter far longer than the definitional list does.
